1. What is the IRWIN® Industrial Tools “Comes in Handy Sweepstakes”?
We know how important it is to you as a woodworker to have all your workshop needs handy, therefore IRWIN is giving away a $10,000 Workshop upgrade to help make someone’s workshop experience even handier! IRWIN’s QUICK-GRIP clamps are the staple of any woodworker’s shop, so whether you are a woodworking hobbyist, professional woodworker or even a DIYer, this prize can certainly come in handy!

2. What are the prizes?
One (1) Grand Prize of a “$10,000 Workshop Upgrade” which consists of a gift card valued at $7500 to Rockler.com and $2,500 of selected IRWIN/Rubbermaid product (ARV- $10,000 USD).

3. What is the Entry Period? This Irwin “Comes in Handy Sweepstakes” begins on April 14, 2008 at 12:00:01 p.m. CST and ends on August 29, 2008 at 11:59: 59 p.m. CST.

4. When is the deadline for entries?
All entries must be received by 11:59:59 PM (CST) on August 29, 2008.

5. How many times can I enter, and are my odds of winning better if I make multiple entries?
Only one entry will be processed per household and/or email address, so it doesn’t help to make multiple entries.

6. Who is eligible to enter the Sweepstakes?
Sweepstakes open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older.

7. How do I enter to win?
Entries can be submitted online. Visit the entry page at: www.irwin.com/handy and complete the online form. Sponsor will be collecting personal data about participants when they enter the Sweepstakes. Personal data includes: name, address, e-mail address, phone number and date of birth.

8. Do I have to make a purchase in order to enter the promotion?
No. You may enter without purchase or obligation. Please see Official Rules for details.

9. Why do I need to enter my street address?
In the chance that you are deemed a potential prize winner; we must have this information to send you the proper eligibility documentation by a trackable mail delivery service (FedEx, UPS, etc.)

10. I do not have a computer, can I mail in my entry?
No. While mail-in entries are not accepted, you may visit your local public library or use any other location with public Internet access in order to enter this sweepstakes.

11. I don't have e-mail yet. How do I get a free e-mail account?
You can get free email accounts, that you can access through your browser, from a number of places on the web. Yahoo! Mail and MSN Hotmail are excellent options.

12. When is the drawing?
One Grand Prize Sweepstakes winner will be determined in a random drawing to take place on or around September 4, 2008 in Dallas, TX at approximately 12:00 noon CST from among all eligible online Sweepstakes entries received during the Entry Period.

13. When will winners be announced?
Winners will be announced in September of 2008.

14. How will I know if I have won?
Potential Grand Prize winners will be notified via mail sent to the permanent address on the winner’s entry form and required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability and Publicity Release (where permitted) within 14 days. Grand Prizes won by persons who are eligible minors in their state of residence will be awarded in eligible minor’s name to an authorized parent/legal guardian, who must sign all required documents. Allow 4-6 weeks from drawing date for shipment of Grand Prize. If the Sweepstakes prize or prize notification is unclaimed or returned as undeliverable, or if a winner of the Sweepstakes prize fails to properly sign and return all forms described herein, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate Sweepstakes entrant.

Send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: IRWIN “Comes in Handy” Sweepstakes Rules and Winner Requests – Encircle Marketing, 1999 Bryan Street, Floor 29, Dallas, TX 75201-3129. Requests must be postmarked by August 29, 2008.
